Take note if you’re flying.
Aer Lingus has advised customers who are flying on Friday afternoon (27 May) to check in at the airport as the airline is currently experiencing technical difficulties.
The Aer Lingus website and mobile app have been affected by the outage and are currently unavailable to customers.
The airline stressed that flights are operating as planned, and that you should check in at the airport you’re flying from while the problem is being resolved.
A message on the airline’s website said the site is “currently unavailable while essential maintenance is being carried out”.
Aer Lingus also apologised to customers for the inconvenience caused by the technical difficulties.
For those flying tomorrow morning, Aer Lingus advised them to check the website or app later this evening to try and check in, or else check in at the airport.
Our website and mobile app are currently unavailable. Our technical team is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Customers flying this afternoon are kindly asked to check-in at the airport, where flights are operating as planned. Apologies for the inconvenience.
