Green Line trams aren’t currently going through the city centre.

Several stops on the Luas Green Line are currently out of action [3.15pm on Monday, at time of writing] due to a signalling fault.

As it stands, northbound trams are halting at Dawson St with southbound trams halting at Dominick St, meaning that trams are not currently taking passengers through the city centre.

“There are currently no services running between Westmoreland and Dominick due to a signalling fault.

“Services are running between Brides Glen and Dawson and Broombridge and Dominick Street,” according to a message of the service’s Twitter account.

Luas has also confirmed on Twitter that Dublin Bus is being called upon to mitigate the disruption.

“Dublin Bus has been activated in the City Centre to accommodate the disruption to the Green Line.”

There has been no indication of how long the problem will last.
