The buses will operate on the Red and Green line routes.

The Luas strike is still set to go ahead on St. Patrick’s Day, but alternative bus arrangements have been made by the Luas operator Transdev.

According to RTÉ, buses will be provided on the Red and Green line routes, and will be operational from 7.30am to 7pm on St. Patrick’s Day from park and ride sites.

Although the cost of hiring the bus service is unknown as of yet, a spokesperson for the company said that customers will be able to use their Leap Cards and pre-paid Luas tickets on the services.

Yesterday, it was announced that additional Luas strikes will take place for four days in April.
