One lucky ticket holder in Ireland claimed a prize of €552,182 after matching five numbers and the bonus number in Wednesday night’s Lotto draw. Although the jackpot of €4,819,534 went unclaimed, there were 27,000 winners of a prize of some description, including a solitary winner of well over half a million quid, which should ensure a very merry Christmas for the ticket holder in question. We’re not jealous, we’re not jealous at all.
In case the fortunate soul in question happens to be reading this and hasn’t checked their numbers yet, the numbers in Wednesday night’s draw were 15, 16, 18, 26, 27 and 38 and the bonus number was 43.
The next biggest prize claimed on the night was €1,766, which was claimed by 17 people for matching five numbers, with several thousand others winning amounts ranging from €194 to a €3 scratch card.
