Three men have been found not guilty of the murder of Northern Irish journalist Lyra McKee.
Ms McKee died at age 29 after being struck by a bullet as she stood close to police vehicles. This was while observing rioting in the Creggan area of Derry in April 2019.
The bullet had been fired towards police.
Days after the killing, the New IRA claimed responsibility for the death of Ms McKee.
As per multiple outlets, Jordan Gareth Devine, 25, of Bishop Street, Paul McIntyre, 58, of Kells Walk, and Peter Cavanagh, 38, of Mary Street, were cleared of her murder on Friday (3 July).
This was after a lengthy non-jury trial which opened in May 2024 and was held at Belfast Crown Court before Mrs Justice Smyth.
The three men had faced a joint enterprise murder charge, which they denied.
