Very sad news this morning.
A man in his 20s has died following a crash in Wexford in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The crash took place on Whitemill Road between midnight and 1am – the man was pronounced dead at the scene after his car crashed into a barrier.
Two other men who were travelling in the car were taken to Wexford Hospital with serious injuries.
Whitemill Road has been closed to traffic while a forensic investigation takes place. The collision has been referred to the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission.
