The incident happened in the early hours of Thursday morning.
A man has been hospitalised with serious injuries following a single vehicle collision in County Meath.
Gardaí in Navan are investigating the incident which saw a car collide with a tree. This occurred at approximately 4.30am on the Windtown Road, about ten minutes from Navan town.
One male was seriously injured and was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. No one else was travelling in the car at the time.
The road has since reopened following the crash.
