Man dead after motorcycle crash in Dublin

Gardaí attended the scene of a fatal single vehicle collision last night (17 May) in Dublin.

On Sunday evening, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed that a man in his 30s had died following collision involving a motorcycle. Gardaí noted that no further injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The crash took place shortly after 7pm on the M1 Northbound near Junction 6, in the Balbriggan area of Dublin.

Forensic Collision Investigators attended the scene and the road has since reopened.

Gardaí at Balbriggan are now appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward, and for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time to make this footage available to Gardaí.
