The incident took place on Thursday afternoon.
A man has died on a farm in Cork following a fatal workplace accident.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene in Drimoleague on Thursday afternoon, 3 March.
At approximately 3.30pm, the body of a man, aged in his 60s, was located on a farm in the area.
The body of the man was removed from the scene to Cork University Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
According to RTÉ News, it is believed that the man may have fallen into a slurry pit.
An investigation will be conducted by the Health Safety Authority.
