Man dies following road collision in Louth

The incident occurred at approximately 5.30pm on Sunday.
Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Townparks, Ardee, Co. Louth at 5.30pm on Sunday, 11 February. A man in his 50s was fatally injured when his car left the road and struck a tree. There was no other vehicle involved and the man was alone in the car at the time of the crash. The road at the scene has now re-opened following an examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.Most Viewed in news
