Gardaí discovered the body following a call from a member of the public.

A man's body has been discovered in unexplained circumstances in Monaghan on Tuesday morning (1 November). The body was found on the curtilage of a premises on the Kingscourt Road at Lossets at approximately 8am. Gardaí were alerted to the premises following a call from a member of the public. The scene is currently preserved and a technical examination will be conducted by the Garda technical Bureau. The office of the State Pathologist have been notified, with the results of the post-mortem determining the course of the investigation. No further information is available at this time.
