A man in his 30s has tragically died following a crash involving a ride-on lawnmower in Co. Tipperary.
The crash occurred on the N76 at Kilcash Cross, Co. Tipperary on Friday, April 11 at around 9:50 pm.
The man, who had been travelling on the ride-on lawnmower, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was taken from the scene to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford, where a post-mortem examination is due to take place.
No other injuries were reported as the road remains closed for technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions have been put in place.
Gardaí have issued an appeal for any witnesses to come forward.
In a statement, they said: "Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area on the N76 between 9.30 pm and 10.30 pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Clonmel Garda Station on (052) 6177640, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
