A man in his late teens has died after two motorcycles collided with a car in Dublin

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

Gardaí in Mountjoy are investigating a fatal car crash that occurred on the Finglas Road in Glasnevin in Dublin on Saturday 31 July.

The collision occurred at approximately 10.15pm when two motorcycles collided with a car.

Two men were taken from the scene to the Mater Hospital where a man in his late teens, the driver of the motorcycle, was later pronounced dead. A post-mortem will follow.

A passenger one of the motorcycles, a male in his mid-teens, continues to receive treatment for his injuries. These are not believed to be life threatening.

The driver of the car was uninjured and no other injuries have been reported at this time.

Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have completed their examination of the scene and the road is now re-open.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

Any road users who were travelling on the Finglas Road between 10.10pm and 10.25p.m and who may have camera footage, including dash cam, is asked to make it available to Gardaí.
