A march in solidarity with Nikita Hand and all victims of sexual violence will take place in Dublin this evening.
The march will take place at 6pm on Monday, November 25th at City Hall, Dame Street Dublin 2.
Natasha O'Brien will speak in solidarity with Nikita Hand and all survivors.
The march begins at City Hall on Dame Street and attendees will march to the Director of Public Prosecutions office.
ROSA stated: "Natasha O’Brien, whose own wellbeing was considered subservient to a violent soldier’s career within the misogynistic justice system that she has so bravely exposed, will travel to Dublin to speak in solidarity with Nikita Hand and all survivors.
"Join the march, Monday 25 November , international day for the elimination of gender violence — gathering at City Hall, Dame Street Dublin 2 at 6pm and marching to the DPP’s office."
Nikita Hand won her civil assault claim against Conor McGregor after the DPP chose not to prosecute McGregor in a criminal trial. Hand sued the MMA fighter for damages after accusing him of raping her in a hotel in Dublin in 2018.
Nikita Hand showed a level of courage and strength we can’t even comprehend. There’s no doubt that the women of Ireland are behind her, with thousands praising her resilience and bravery.
For those who wish to share their stories but to remain anonymous, DRCC’s We-Consent campaign has created a survivor story-sharing platform, WeSpeak.ie, that allows people to share their stories safely and securely, in their own time.
The 24-hour National Helpline 1800 778888 provides free, confidential, and non-judgmental support after sexual violence at any time.
