A Married at First Sight UK cast member has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
The news comes after all episodes the show was pulled from Channel 4 in the wake of controversies around rape allegations.
The allegations were revealed by a BBC Panorama programme which aired in May.
The rape allegations came from two female cast members on the show while a third woman alleged a non-consensual sex act.
The men involved in the claims have denied the allegations.
The individual who has been arrested has not been named.
The alleged victim is also not being named as anyone makes an allegation of rape is entitled to anonymity by law.
In the wake of the allegations in May, the Metropolitan Police urged "anyone who believes they have been a victim of sexual assault" after being on the show to contact them.
In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: "On Thursday, 18 June, Met officers arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of rape.
"This relates to an ongoing investigation, being led by the Met Police.
"He has since been bailed while enquiries remain ongoing."
Channel 4 pulled all episodes of MAFS in May hours before the Panorama investigation was aired.
The latest series of the show has already been filmed, but a decision whether to broadcast it has not been made.
Channel 4 is currently reviewing MAFS UK and a report will be finished later in the summer.
It intends to publish a "a summary of findings", rather than the full report.
Lawyers for CPL, the independent production company that makes the UK version of the show, have previously said its welfare system is "gold standard" and industry-leading.
