Met Éireann have issued a status yellow snow and ice warning for Ireland.
The warning states that wintry showers of hail, sleet and snow with localised accumulations, especially on high ground, are to be expected.
Elsewhere, icy stretches on roads and footpaths are to be expected too.
The warning is valid from 11:00am on Saturday, 14 December until 11:00am on Sunday, 15 December.
There’s also a status yellow wind warning in place for Donegal too.
That particular warning states that we can expect “strong westerly winds Friday night and for a time Saturday. Mean speeds 50 to 65 km/h gusting to 90 to 110 km/h with a risk of stronger winds at the coasts.
This warning is in place until 5pm on Saturday, 14 December.
