Take note.

Met Éireann has issued Status Yellow thunderstorm and rain warning for 15 counties in Ireland.

The warning is in place for the entirety of Leinster, as well as Cavan, Donegal and Monaghan.

It’s valid from 12pm on Saturday until 8pm on Saturday evening.

Met Éireann said scattered heavy showers with localised thundery downpours in these counties will bring a risk of spot flooding.

The Met Office has also issued a Status Yellow thunderstorm warning for Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry.

It said that many places would miss the worst, but heavy showers and thunderstorms may cause some transport disruption and perhaps flooding in some areas.

There’s also a Status Yellow rainfall warning currently in place for Galway, Mayo and Kerry.

It remains in effect until 4pm on Friday with Met Éireann warning of heavy and possibly thundery falls of rain at times with a risk of localised flooding.
