The weather is grey now but the forecast is predicting some very good times ahead

Rosanna Cooney

Good weather is always good news.

Hump day has arrived and it very accurately reflects our mood, breezy, drizzly and just a bit soggy.

But the hump will soon be overcome and the good news is it looks like the week is going to become a slip slap slide of sunshine.

According to Met Éireann everyday is going to get warmer and drier this week, climaxing with a hot and most likely sweaty 24 degrees on Monday.

There is some substantial ‘heavy cloud and rain’ forecast for Friday so might be wise to bring the cautionary brolly.

Saturday and Sunday however look like days for picnics and frisbee in the park as Met Éireann is forecasting ‘dry weather with mixed sunshine’. Temperatures will be up around 20 degrees all weekend.

Might just be worth putting in for a day off on Monday. Vitamin D is a rare and beautiful thing.
