Northern Ireland has reported an additional 14 deaths related to Covid-19 on Tuesday.
The NI Department of Health also reported an additional 1,566 positive cases of Covid-19 over the past 24 hours.
A total of 1,305 people have died in the region with the disease and the cumulative number of infections now stands at 68,762.
It marks a significant increase in case numbers in the region, after the Department of Health in Northern Ireland reported a further 20 coronavirus-related deaths and 1,634 cases for the previous 48 hour period.
Northern Ireland entered a six-week lockdown on Saturday in a bid to slow the spread of the virus with the closure of non-essential shops and services such as hairdressers and barbers.
Hospitals in Northern Ireland are operating over capacity at the moment as the increasing cases places pressure on the health system.
