Norwegian Air come out fighting.
Who doesn’t love it when two major airlines engage in a good-natured Twitter battle? Norwegian Air have come out fighting.
Aer Lingus may have thrown some serious corporate shade at its rival after the latter announce low cost fares between Ireland and New York, tweeting,
No free bag?
No free seat assignment?
No free meal?
No preclearance?Cheers, you're grand. https://t.co/aZIHqZJpJc

..but the latter have come out fighting. Not only have they thanked Aer Lingus for the free advertising…

…but they’ve also dropped the mic on their Irish counterparts by insisting that there WILL be a transfer service between Stewart International Airport and Manhattan on all flights.
This is what Aer Lingus tweeted:

But their competitors came back with something of a zinger.

“It’s great to see friendly banter and healthy competition between airlines – the real winners here are passengers who now have more choice and lower fares than ever before,” the Norwegian spokesperson told JOE.
