The weddings of a number of couples have been placed in jeopardy after a popular hotel in Sligo was forced to cease trading with immediate effect.
Cromleach Lodge, a four-star hotel in Castlebaldwin in Sligo, has been forced to cease trading after a meeting with Revenue Officials.
A couple who had been due to get married in the hotel sent JOE correspondence they received from the hotel today, an e-mail which was sent to a large number of couples to apologise for the “devastating news”.
JOE has reached out to Cromleach Lodge for comment but has yet to receive a response.
