The incident happened on Tuesday.
Firefighters and advanced paramedics were called to Old Bawn Community School in Tallaght on Tuesday following a chemical spill in a classroom.
Two students were rushed to hospital after a teacher accidentally spilled sulphuric acid, some of which is reported to have come into contact with the skin of the two students in question.
Firefighters ventilated the building as staff acted promptly to deal with the spilled substance.
