Now there’s a headline you don’t see every day.

Most of us have had the experience of waking up in the morning with an instant dose of the fear due to not remembering what we got up to the night before and it’s fair to say one Australian teenager would have had a rude awakening on Monday morning when it dawned on him what exactly he been up to on Sunday night.

According to the Queensland Times, a very drunk 19-year old man entered a 7-eleven service station at 4.30am on Monday, wearing a flower pot over his head to conceal his identity and wielding a chainsaw with which he threated store attendants, who quickly went into a store room for their own safety.

When his demands for money went unanswered, the man in question damaged a window and several shelves in the store before taking a bottle of soft drink, exposing his rear end to staff and leaving the premises.

He was spotted walking on a street nearby by a policeman en route to the scene of the crime and placed under arrest, while a dog squad located the chainsaw in a bush not far away shortly afterwards.

According to the report in the Queensland Times, he was later charged with one count of armed robbery, two counts of wilful damage, one count of going armed to cause fear, one count of public nuisance and one count of possessing suspected stolen property. The mooning, it seems, was overlooked.

And you thought you had a wild weekend.
