Well played Ajax Drains, very well played indeed.
In a day and age where ‘austerity’ is a buzzword and penny-pinching is often necessary, companies have to be aware of the need to plug their goods and services whenever they get the opportunity and by whatever means necessary.
Obviously well aware that the debate over the introduction of water charges is something of a hot topic at the moment, the folks over at Ajax Drains decided to ‘tap’ into some free publicity on the Six One News this evening by cleverly positioning a company van in the background while Marina Fitzgerald was reporting on that very topic outside Leinster House.

The rather crude image on the van might not have gone down too well with some viewers but you have to applaud Ajax Drains for their initiative on this occasion.
Besides, as was pointed out by some people on Twitter (and absolutely not by us), the drains around Leinster House are bound to be clogged what will all the sh*te spouted within the four walls on a regular basis, so the Ajax Drains lads could be parked there for some time yet.
