PIC: Dublin shop is having a “price rebellion” and delivering free 1916 Proclamations to houses

We really like this idea…

The 100-year commemorations of the 1916 rising may have come and gone over the Easter weekend but that doesn’t mean that patriotism is finished for the year.

We’ve seen the glorious montages of the celebrations and even some Hollywood stars reading out the 1916 Proclamation.

But, now we’ve another tribute to the rising…

JC’s supermarket in Swords, Dublin is holding a “price rebellion” this week and as part of it, they’re delivering free copy of the 1916 Proclamation to houses in Swords.

Something that every Irish household should have hanging above their fireplace…

Cheers to Dáire Andrews  for sending this our way.
