
PIC: Gardaí stop driver in Kerry going at a terrifying speed
Double the limit.
A roads policing unit in County Kerry pulled over a driver for going twice the speed limit on Friday night. The discovery was made on the Castleisland to Limerick Road.
The motorist was going 200km/h in a 100km/h zone.
According to An Garda Síochána, the driver was arrested for dangerous driving on the spot and charged for court.
Gardaí shared a photo of the speed camera to their official Twitter page on Saturday afternoon. The tweet noted: "Driver put their own & others lives at risk by driving at such a ridiculous speed."
