We’re already getting a bit nostalgic for the mass hysteria of last weekend’s historic referendum vote, and this isn’t helping.
The hashtag #HomeToVote was tweeted over 72,000 between Friday and Saturday as people flew back into the country to cast their vote in the Marriage Equality (and lowering of the Presidential age) referendum.
It made a hell of a splash globally, so much so that Twitter headquarters in San Francisco is now displaying the hashtag proudly.
