Wow. Just wow.

It may be a little bit manky in many parts of the country today but, over the Bank Holiday weekend, one super snapper managed to capture this stunning image of the Milky Way while the sky remained clear over Sandycove in West Cork. Simon O'Shea writes, "the Milky Way from Sandycove, Castlehaven. Took advantage of the clear skies at the weekend to have a go at photographing the night's sky." Now, here at JOE, we're no fancy photo experts, but we're pretty sure this was taken on a windy-uppy disposable camera from the local EuroGiant. Or not... Brilliant, we're sure you'll agree...
