The method might not be exactly by the book, but they’re still getting the job done.

The storms that hit Ireland in the last few days certainly took their toll all over the country, with evidence of trees falling on roads and a number of homes and business premises suffering damage as a result of the heavy rain and high winds.

The roofs were often the first parts of buildings to be affected and any amount of them have required repair in the last few days, like this one in Clare, where a pair of fellas took a rather novel approach to ensuring that all the tiles or slates were back in place having been shifted about in the storm.

We’re not sure any watching Health and Safety officer would approve of said method, but it’s not as if people in the Banner County have been afraid of pushing the boundaries in that regard in the past…
