Pic: Mayo couple feature brilliant Father Ted reference at their wedding

Check out this beauty from the Western People.

Bernadette McHale and Enda Finnerty, a couple from Moygownagh, Mayo, made sure their guests knew exactly where the wedding venue was with this life-sized cardboard cut-out of the groom dressed as Tom (Pat Shortt's character) from Father Ted.

Marian Duggan from the Western People writes, “It’s customary for locals to turn up at the church for a glimpse of the bride but the people of Moygownagh were visiting the cut-out all day getting their photograph taken alongside the mischievous-looking groom.”

To be fair to the people of Moygownagh, we'd also jump at the chance to get a pic beside this lad.

We'd say the Bernadette bride was only delighted to be upstaged on the big day. Brides love that.
