As if a reminder were needed...
Sunday marks the 15th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in New York and Washington D.C.
Earlier we shared this story of a plane that landed in Canada on the day of the attacks, and how new friendships and a sense of community was formed out of complete tragedy.
This image, meanwhile, was taken by astronaut Frank Culbertson on the day and posted to Twitter two years ago to the day.
Nobody will ever forget where they were that day, or how they heard the news.
