A nation mourns as one today as we remember the late, great Bill O’Herlihy.
Tributes have poured in on Twitter, here at JOE we’ve picked our own happiest memories, and #OkeyDoke was even trending in Ireland earlier today.
Now, both President Michael D. Higgins Higgins and Taoiseach Enda Kenny have released official statements of their own, gestures which, in themselves, are testament to the legacy of the legendary broadcaster.
