While the majority of attention is on the Dáil and the impending discussions regarding the composition of any future government, there are always some people that have absolutely zero interest in politics.
In the eyes of some Irish citizens, a series of scandals, tribunals and negligent policies have caused irreparable damage to the political credibility of our political institutions and they’ve had enough.
We wouldn’t blame you for thinking that Irish politics is a breathing ground for corruption and lies but there are some TDs and Councillors who tirelessly work to improve our country.
While the motivation to enter the political sphere varies from TD to TD , one Irish fourth class student definitely has the right idea.
