We often hear stories that sports journalists back in the day had a hell of a time. Some lads would go to cover a game on a Saturday and he mightn't make it home until the following Wednesday. Those days are a thing of the past in Ireland but maybe not in Lithuania. Sligo Rovers are in the eastern European country tonight for their Europa League qualifying round game with FC Banga (great name) and the travelling journalists have been given a real treat as RTE journalist Rory Houston tweeted this afternoon...

We suspect the sub-editors on duty back in Ireland will have to be on their toes tonight. We also love that nobody has touched the whiskey, vodka or salad but the sausages have been cleaned out, very professional work lads.
