Dublin City BID have been keeping people abreast of the situation...

One of the most famous statues in Dublin was vandalised last night as graffiti was sprayed all over the Molly Malone structure in the city centre. The statue had just been unveiled in its new home on the top of Suffolk Street after she had to be moved from Grafton Street because of Luas works. Dublin City BID tweeted a picture of the graffiti earlier today and it's pretty clear what part of Molly they were targeting... Thankfully, Dublin City Council have acted quickly to clean up the situation and Colm Hand tweeted this picture earlier of a worker wiping away the mess... Lads, let's all be sound and leave Molly alone.
