Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s just a really strange looking cloud that formed over Donnybrook earlier this evening.
If you were travelling along the N11 earlier (before the feckin’ sun set at what seemed to be 3pm) you might have seen this rather unusual cloud that formed in Donnybrook near the RTÉ Studios. The guys at MKC Communications tweeted the pic and we have to say, it really is a strange one.
We’ve never claimed to be cloud experts here in JOE, but after an extensive Google search (which took less than one second) we’ve found what we think is the closest definition of what we see here.
According to our old pal Google, the cloud is (potentially) a ‘scud cloud’. While scud clouds look like twisters, thankfully, they’re harmless.
