Homenews

Proper order.

Word of mouth would seem to suggest that politicians haven’t been canvassing as much as may have been expected in the run-up to the general election, but there’ll be no more of it from tomorrow in any case. Any politicians canvassing in the Belvedere area in Waterford may want to avoid one house in particular, because depending on what they say, what they do or what political party they represent, it could end up hitting them very hard in the pocket. Canvassing politicians would have no legal obligation (that we know of) to pay up, of course, but would you really want to argue with someone who goes to the trouble of making a notice like this one that was spotted by Sinn Féin councillor John Hearne in Waterford? electioncharge Pic via Facebook/John Hearne We're definitely taking this idea on board for the next time a general election rolls around.
