Coming into circulation in September, we hope to have lots of these in our wallets…
After upgrading the fiver last year, those cuddly fellas at the European Central Bank are this year giving the humble tenner a revamp. We’ll spare you all the details about the extra security features and durability of the new note to give you a look at what you’ll be handing over the counter the next time you buy two pints of the black stuff.
If you really want to know more, the ECB have made a little video introducing the new note. Thrilling it ain’t. You’ve been warned.

Set for release on September 23, the other notes will also be upgraded in time but as we really only use €5, €10, €20 and €50s here really, they won’t be too long giving all our money a new look.
