We’ve been sent in this pic from JOE reader Paudie Fahey who thought we’d get a laugh out of the sign in question. We certainly had a laugh, but not before trying to figure out what exactly is on offer…
The error (at least we hope it’s an error) is on a sign in an industrial estate in Ballindud, Waterford, so keep an eye out for it next time you’re passing through.
Our best guess is that the sign is supposed to read “Canal Rectification” instead of “Anal Rectification”, so either a lazy graphic designer, or one with a twisted sense of humour, must have gotten their hands on this one.
