Here are some of the worst flooding pictures captured in Ireland over the past 24-hours.
Yesterday’s heavy nationwide rainfall left some areas seriously flooded and the following pictures give us a look at just how much rain fell in the short period of time.
Unfortunately, it looks like there’s a bit more rain on the way tonight with coastal counties baring the brunt, especially on the east coast, as Met Éireann reports: “Scattered showers will continue this evening and tonight, mainly in coastal counties. They’ll be heavy or prolonged in the east with a risk of flooding. Many inland areas will be dry.”

Thankfully, the water in Nutgrove has since cleared and the AA are reporting that Nutgrove Ave has reopened.
