Jaysus, looks like we might actually have to batten down some hatches…
We’ve had some odd weather of late with the likes of flooding and snow showers hitting the country over the past week alone, but now we’re being battered by high winds and there are plenty of pictures to prove it.
Earlier today, Sky News were reporting winds of 177kmh off the West Coast of Ireland and even Shannon Airport was forced to cease operations until 3.30pm due to adverse weather conditions… and because a plane was blown onto its side.
Due to the adverse conditions all airport operations have been suspended until 15.30pm
