Election season often throws up its fair share of oddities by way of vandalised posters, ‘Booby Sands’-esque typos and unfortunate gaffes – but this leaflet purporting to be from Dublin Bay South Independent candidate Willie DJ Gorman takes the whole cake.
The full leaflet was shared on the @CarlosVanSRon Twitter account earlier on today and it is absolutely, incomprehensibly in. sane.

After opening with a bizarre quote from his mother, the Gorman goes on to discuss his sexual history – claiming to have had sex with over 3000 people.

He admits to taking part in two porn films in the 1980s, then making the harder-to-prove claim that members of Fine Gael and Labour own these films.

He also talks about how he earned the nickname ‘Dead Man Walking’ after saving the lives of some men in the IRA.
