With more high tides forecast around the area, there may be worse yet to come
The bad weather experienced in the early hours of the morning today has caused some flooding along the promenade at Clontarf, and thanks to a few residents who have been using social media, we can get a look at the after effects.
The water has come up from the seafront and gotten over the wall, spilling on to the promenade and causing a lot of flooding, which seems to be spreading further back.

According to Clontarf.ie, residents can get their hands on sandbags from the council in case they should need them, so if you are affected you can get in touch with them here.
