Anyone heading northbound on the M50 can expect delays as emergency services are currently dealing with a truck that caught fire.
Judging by the pics on Twitter it was a fairly serious incident, but thankfully there have been no injuries reported to Gardaí. The truck caught fire just before the Liffey Valley & Palmerstown exit (Junction 7) of the M50 heading northbound.

The fire has been brought under control but emergency services are still on the scene cleaning up the incident, so drivers can expect delays if they’re heading that direction.
M50 NB at J7 is still down to 1 lanes as emergency services put out a truck fire. Traffic is back to J10 Ballymount.
