There’s a lot to be said for knowing when to admit defeat
In many neighbourhoods and housing estates around the world, home owners will go head to head to see who can create the most outrageous lights display on the street.
However, one particular home in Rochester, Minnesota decided that rather than engaging in this type of carry on, they knew when to admit their defeat, and simply did this.
Fair play, no point in fighting a battle you know you can’t win. However, as one person in the comments on Reddit pointed out, it’s also a good way of reminding any Home Alone-style crooks which house they should concentrate on.
