Further arrests have now been made.

Following the ongoing investigation into the tragic attack on Manchester Arena on Monday night, which resulted in 22 fatalities and 59 injuries, Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that they now have further individuals in custody.

They previously named 22-year-old Salman Ramadan Abedi as the person suspected of carrying out the suicide attack, but had warned that he may not have been working alone. A 23-year-old man was also arrested on Tuesday.

Now they have confirmed that a further three men from South Manchester have also been arrested, after police executed warrants in connection with the attack at the Ariana Grande concert, bringing the total in custody to four.

Whether the individuals are subsequently charged remains to be seen.
