Very handy.

An Post is planning to introduce a nationwide network of self-service parcel locker stations to allow customers access to online deliveries and return items with greater ease.

The service will be similar to other offerings like Parcel Motel which allows consumers to pick up packages at their leisure without having to be at home to collect the delivery.

An Post has said that the network of self-service parcel locker stations will be located in high footfall areas like Dublin and other regional locations.

“An Post is transforming and diversifying to deliver customer needs through new products and formats with the focus on out of home e-commerce with longer opening hours and consideration of alternative delivery solutions,” An Post said.

“As part of this program of work, An Post is looking to roll out a range of new, physical touch points designed to complement its retail outlets network (e.g. post offices) and offer online consumers exceptional convenience and flexibility when it comes to the delivery and returns of their parcels.

“In order to offer around the clock access to its parcels services, An Post intends to roll out a network of self-service parcel locker stations that will be located in high footfall areas in Dublin and key regional locations.”
