Predictions of Beast From The East 3.0 means we could be getting a White Easter

Weather

This is getting a bit ridiculous now…

For the next few days, we can expect some decent(ish) weather, with the rain becoming less frequent and the temperatures to get up to a practically Caribbean-level of 10 degrees over the course of the coming week.

HOWEVER…

What goes up, must come down, and with the weather being so temperamental (temperature-mental? We’ll work on this) lately, it will continue to be pretty erratic for the next few weeks.

If you remember basic science, then you’ll know that warm air rises, and in rushes cold air to take its place, and BBC News weather forecaster Matt Taylor is predicting that it we could see a return of those Siberian winds, with parts of Northern Ireland potentially dipping to as low as -8.

So no need to break out the shorts just yet.

The forecast sees things taking a plunge from Thursday 29 March, which will lead into a week of very unpredictable weather all the way into early April.

The Express have reported that bookmakers have slashed the odds of snow falling on Easter from 4/1 to 5/4, which doesn’t bode well.

There is still a chance that, like most weather fronts, it’ll just suddenly head off in a different direction in the days leading up to the arrival, but consider how the last few weeks have played out, that seems increasingly unlikely.
