Gardaí have launched an investigation after the discovery of a body of man in the River Liffey on Saturday (2 September).
A Garda spokesperson told JOE that the body was found on the west side of the East Link Bridge at around 8am.
The body of the male has since been removed the scene and taken to Dublin City Morgue, where a post mortem will be conducted at a later date.

The spokesperson said that the results of the post mortem will determine the course of the Garda investigation.
As for now, the probe is ongoing with Gardaí stating that they are looking into "all the circumstances" surrounding the discovery.
The East Link Bridge, also known as The Tom Clarke Bridge, is the last bridge on the Liffey before it opens out into Dublin Port.
