Scramblers will be banned from all public places in Ireland from Friday, 3 April.
It comes after 16-year-old Grace Lynch died after being hit by a scrambler in Finglas in Dublin earlier this year.
Named Grace's Law, the Taoiseach confirmed in February that scramblers were to be banned from public places.
Minister for Transport Darragh O'Brien will bring the new legislation to Government, meaning that the use of scramblers will henceforth be an offence.
Gardaí will no longer need reasonable belief that scramblers may be used dangerously before seizing the bike.
It further builds on the Road Traffic and Roads Act 2023, which was aimed at tackling the use of scramblers in a dangerous fashion.
O'Brien confirmed that the law is supported by Grace's parents, Siobhán and Martin.
"I've remained in contact with Grace's family, with her mom and her dad, and I've kept them abreast of progress," he said, via RTE.
"They've been incredibly strong through this whole awful situation."
O'Brien added that there had been "complexities around definitions" of scramblers.
"There wasn't an actual definition in Irish law of that type of vehicle," he said.
"So, we’ve had to do that work."
